Frequently Asked Questions

Go to your state’s page and start searching for current Home Depot clearance deals.

After navigating to your state’s current deals, all the deals in that state will be shown. Simply enter the store number or search by city, date added, or title. Deals can also be sorted A-Z and numerically using their respective sort arrows at top of columns.

Your store’s number is the most accurate way to search for current deals. Follow these steps to easily locate that information.

When Home Depot’s website doesn’t display the clearance price, it’s because their system assumes the item is out of stock at that store. However, if you find the item in-store, it’s considered a Home Depot hidden clearance deal. When you take it to the register, it will ring up at the discounted price shown on our site.

Not all stores update their shelf price tags regularly. The price displayed on the shelf may not reflect the current price at checkout. If you’re unsure about a price, ask an employee with a handheld Zebra scanner to check the system for the most accurate, up-to-date price.

Important note: Employees should use the store’s internal system, not Home Depot’s website, to verify prices. If the employee you ask isn’t able to assist, find another who understands your request.

Home Depot clearance items are only available in-store and cannot be purchased online. You’ll need to locate the item at your local store and check out at the register.

Unfortunately, these items cannot be ordered for pickup either.

The stock count we display is pulled directly from Home Depot’s website. However, Home Depot’s inventory data isn’t always precise due to factors like miscounts or theft. This means the stock count may not always reflect what’s actually available in-store.

Absolutely! Stock counts are often inaccurate. There are many cases where the online system shows “Unavailable” but the item is still available in-store.

Most Home Depot stores have a designated clearance section, often located on an end cap. However, not all Home Depot clearance items make it to this section due to space constraints. Some deals are hidden in the upper bins, so you’ll need to do a bit of searching to uncover them.

Keep in mind, items in the upper bins aren’t always placed where the product is normally stocked.
